Local residents in Hargate Way made me aware of several issues with the area around the shops and school at Hampton Hargate, and I have reported these to the council.

They include:
– Damage to the fencing around the grassy areas (reported here)
– Two streetlights with missing light fittings (reported here)
– The bin outside One Stop is open, meaning litter escapes and blows around when it is windy (reported here)

I also noticed faded road markings at the junction of the one-way system with Hargate Way and the bus stop (reported here).

Hopefully the council will be able to fix these problems soon, as I understand the issues have existed for quite some time. I will report back on any progress.
